| The Ottawa Humane Society (OHS) helps 11,000 animals each and every year, rescuing them from abuse and neglect, providing medical treatment and finding them new and loving homes. Since early spring, the OHS has been operating at double capacity, with its wards full of nearly 350 cats and more than 60 dogs on any given day.
